FRIDAY 24-09-10

1. FC Köln v. 1899 Hoffenheim

Match day six kicks off with TSG Hoffenheim coming up against FC Köln.  Both teams lost during the Englische Woche (Bundesliga midweek
also known as English week) and will be looking forward to getting the three
points.  Hoffenheim would like to see the loss to Bayern as a glitch in their campaign
as they lie third on the table.

SATURDAY 25-09-10

 BUNDESLIGA PREVIEW: MATCH DAY 6

FC Bayern München v.
1 FSV Mainz 05

After winning their first match of the season, Bayern seek to
continue winning against in-form, high-spirited Mainz, who have scored twelve and conceded
four.  Mainz are
two wins away from a Bundesliga record of seven straight wins at the start of a
season.  Now that is a good motivation.  Meanwhile, Bayern are without key
midfielder Franck Ribery, who suffered an ankle injury and he is sidelined for a month.

FC Schalke 04 v.
Borrusia M’gladbach

Schalke also got their first win of the season during midweek and will
want to overcome Gladbach who are struggling after they have
conceded seventeen goals while only scoring eight.  Schalke still lie behind Gladbach on
the league table, so this could be a must win for both sides.

VfB Stuttgart v.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Injury time changed the moods of both teams in their last matches, Stuttgart lost but Leverkusen
won.  Both teams need the three points desperately.

Eintracht Frankfurt v. 1 FC Nürnberg

Interestingly, it was the same injury time that changed the moods of both
teams.  Frankfurt lost while Nürnberg won.
After beating Stuttgart, they seem to have the
confidence to trample over Frankfurt who also
have other ideas.

 BUNDESLIGA PREVIEW: MATCH DAY 6

FC St. Pauli v.
Borussia Dortmund

After winning on their travels, St. Pauli would enjoy winning at home to Dortmund who lie second
on the table. It will be a difficult one for St. Pauli, but Dortmund
would want to close in on Mainz
who are three points away.  Meanwhile, St. Pauli’s on-loan striker Richard Sukuta-Pasu is facing four to six weeks on the sidelines after rupturing ankle ligaments in training.

SV Werder Bremen v. Hamburg
SV

Bremen also suffered a defeat
during midweek but would like to put that behind them to beat Hamburg who have also
been wounded.  We will see who comes up as the winner.

SUNDAY 26-09-10

 BUNDESLIGA PREVIEW: MATCH DAY 6

VfL Wolfsburg v. SC Freiburg

Steve McClaren’s Wolfsburg beat Hamburg on Wednesday and
would like to continue the turnaround of their campaign. They meet Freiburg who lost to Schalke in midweek.

1 FC Kaiserslautern v. Hannover 96

Kaiserslautern suffered a
5-0 loss to Dortmund while Hannover beat Bremen 4-1 putting the
sides in different spirits. It should be a cracking finish to match day six.
