34,000 spectators at opening Galatasaray match
Istanbul, Turkey – With thanks to the amazing fan base of Galatasaray, over 34,000 spectators turned up to the opening Galatasaray game of the 2012-2013 season of the Spor Toto Süper Lig. This figure exceeds the current average attendees for all Galatasaray games.
Galatasaray thanked their fans by beating their opening round opponents Kas?mpa?a, 2-1 with a great performance from the entire team. Umut Bulut continued his fantastic pre-season form to score two Galatasaray goals, one in the 35th and the second in the 87th minute.
UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw, Monaco
Istanbul, Turkey – Galatasaray are eagerly awaiting the UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw on Thursday night in Monaco to confirm who will be joining them in their group. Galatasaray equalise Besiktas 3-3
