Bob Bradley released the United States 30-man preliminary World Cup squad. The most notable exception is striker Charlie Davies, who apparently is not quite medically fit for the squad. Without Davies, Bradley added two young strikers who are in great form, Edson Buddle (L.A. Galaxy) and Herculez Gomez (Puebla F.C.). Bradley must narrow the squad to 23 players to take to South Africa.
