Wesley Sneijder
Inter Milan’s out of favor midfielder has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray for a reported 7.5 million Euro ($10 million) fee. The Dutch international signed a three and a half year deal for 5 million Euro ($6.6 million) per season.
Carles Puyol
The Spanish center back has signed an extension to remain at Barcelona until 2016.
Ashley Cole
Chelsea’s starting left back has signed a one year extension to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Fernando Llorente
The former Athletic Bilbao striker has finally been granted his wish (sort of) and will join Juventus for a new four year deal in Italy once his contract expires in the summer.
Michu
Swansea City got some very good news this week when their star striker signed a four year extension to remain with the Welsh side. The prolific Spaniard came to Michael Laudrup’s squad for a bargain last summer and had reportedly been courted by larger clubs.
Yoan Gouffran
The Bordeaux striker will join Newcastle for a four year deal. Gouffran wasn’t the only French international signed by the Magpies this week…
Massadio Haidara
The French U-21 defender signed a five year deal with Newcastle this week as well. Alan Pardew continues to pillage France as he looks to get out of the bottom half of the table in England.
Diego Lugano
The Uruguayan center back will join Malaga on loan from Paris-Saint Germain until the season ends.
David Abraham
The 26 year old center back has completed a move from Getafe to Hoffenheim. Abraham’s new deal will keep him in Germany until 2016.
Liedson
The Brazilian striker will join Porto on loan for six months from his native Flamengo.
Wilfried Zaha
Arguably the most sought after English prospect, the 20 year old winger will finish out the season on loan at Crystal Palace and then join Manchester United permanently in the summer.
Sylvain Distin
The Dutch international signed a one year extension to remain at Everton.
Sergio Escudero
The Spanish defender joins Getafe on loan from Hoffenheim. Odds are the move was prompted by the David Abraham deal.
Mauro Formica
The Argentine midfielder joins Palermo on loan until the end of the season from Blackburn Rovers.
Federico Macheda
The French international continues to find himself on the outside looking in at Manchester United. The winger will join Stuttgart on loan for the rest of the season.
Leroy Lita
With the success of Michu, Lita has struggled for playing time and will join Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.
